Physiotherapy

If you are affected by pain, injury, illness or disability we can help you, using controlled movement and exercise, manual therapy, acupuncture, electrotherapy, education and advice in order to alleviate symptoms.

Initially, your physiotherapist will complete a full assessment in order to determine a diagnosis and make a decision on the appropriate type of treatment.

Commencing treatment as soon as possible can produce a quicker recovery and means less time spent away from work, hobbies or sport.

If you are unsure about physiotherapy being appropriate, please contact us to discuss and we will be happy to advise you.

    Sarah Key Technique

Sarah Key is an Australian physiotherapist who developed this method of treatment which involves the physiotherapist using their foot (mainly the heel) to mobilise stiff areas in the spine.

As with any of our treatments, a thorough assessment will be carried out and the findings discussed fully with the patient prior to the commencement of any treatment. The methodology of the treatment will also be explained.

FAQs

  • As a self funding patient, you do not need a referral from your GP. If you have Private Health Insurance and wish to claim through this, you will likely require a referral, depending on your policy.

  • Appointments last 30minutes however if it is your initial assessment and treatment is for a lower back issue, we require one hour.

  • While we are always available for advice, this is limited until a face to face initial assessment has been carried out.
